Egyptian-Sudanese land border was opened from 2014. The information from hitchhiker, citizen of Lithuania. You can see the Egyptian border stamp QUSTUL on 02.11.2014:

Today we have no information about possibility of crossing there on the cycle. Hitchhiking is restricted there, that guy had to use the bus.
